The number of new Jacks this year has put the name at the top of the Queensland's most popular baby names list (see the full list below) for the third year. Jack's parents, Adam and Kym, were unaware of the popularity of their favourite name when their firstborn appeared last Anzac Day. "We liked the name because it was simple and to the point," said Mrs Meredith. .
